Share the joy

I just want to tell you
nothing but the truth.
But in sharing your opinion
you’ve been so black and white
that for some reason I chose to hide.

The facts of things I used to share
without thinking or even care
cause I thought you’d be there.

I struggle cause I do
want to share the joy with you.
But if you make me doubt myself
and only tell your truth
without listening to it too,
who am I to answer the phone
everytime he dissappoints
and makes you cry
even when I gave you my advice.

I’m not forcing you to follow it
and will still listen to it all.
But I won’t tell you my adventures
when all you do is laugh and joke
without any serious note.
You certainly don’t have to agree
but please just try and see
your own words are contradicting
with the actions you’re showing me.
